Colin and Genevieve Rose
Colin and Genevieve Rose
Proprietors
Colin and Genevieve Rose set up the clinic in 1972. Colin was a practicing Chiropractor for more than 40 years. During that time he was a member of the British Chiropractic Association Council in a number of roles, from Secretary to Treasurer. Colin received a Lifetime Achievement award from the BCA for his contribution to the Chiropractic Profession. Colin was also on the Board of Governors for the AECC for a number of years. Genevieve was a Chiropractor (they met at University) and she ran a successful rehabilitation gym upstairs at the Clinic for a number of years. 50 years on and they are both now retired. These days, Colin can be found in his garage tinkering with things and remains the family handyman! Genevieve is either found in the garden or looking after the grandchildren! Their youngest daughter, Fabienne, now manages the clinic with the support of their eldest daughter, Sylvie.

Chiropractor
I qualified from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1987 and I've been at the London Road Chiropractic Clinic since 2011. Currently I am doing a Master's in Medical Education at Cambridge University and I am working with the Royal College of Chiropractors to develop postgraduate training within the profession. I've a Master's in Evidence-based Health Care from Oxford and am involved in researching the effect of social prescribing on musculoskeletal pain. I also taught on the degree course at the AECC for five years and am currently a Visiting Research Fellow looking into assessment of final year students. I'm particularly interested in lifestyle medicine and chiropractic care of sports injuries and have treated sports professionals both in-clinic and at events such as the Le Mans 24 hour race and the Ladies' European Golf Tour.

Chiropractor
My first encounter with Chiropractic was when I was 15 and was a chronic migraine sufferer. The only treatment that seemed to help was Chiropractic, this spurred me on to become a Chiropractor. I trained at AECC and graduated in 1990. I've been at The London Road Chiropractic Clinic since then, giving me more than 30 years experience. After graduating I went on to study Ergonomics at Loughborough University which led to an interest in post-graduate education and I took on the role of post-graduate course coordinator for Trent and West Midlands for 10 years. I also served as British Chiropractic Association Secretary for over 15 years. I enjoy treating a large range of patients, keeping up to date with current musculoskeletal treatments, and adding to my "package of care". I believe that Chiropractic is much more than " cracking backs", listening to patients as well as thorough examination and a proper diagnosis are the basis of any treatment or management plan. When not helping patients you can find me on the golf course trying to get my handicap down.

Chiropractor
I qualified as a chiropractor from The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2000. I have worked at The London Road Clinic since 2012. Outside of work I enjoy running and have completed a number of marathons and ultra-marathons. Having always been a keen player and spectator of sport, I take a particular interest in sports injuries. In addition to chiropractic care, I provide Shockwave Therapy treatment at the clinic. I am enthusiastic to impart my knowledge to my patients to enable them to avoid recurrence of their back pain or injury, to train better and to help them improve their overall health. I aim to empower my patients to manage their health better.

Chiropractor
I graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1995 and have been practicing for over 25 years. I first worked at The London Road Chiropractic Clinic after graduation and I now work at the clinic part-time whilst also running my own clinic in Market Harborough. I have an interest in pregnant women and children having undertaken extra training in this area. I treat children of all ages and like to have an informal chat before you book just to ensure chiropractic treatment is the right treatment for your child. I am a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) which gives me a greater understanding of the biomechanical functions of each joint and muscle and the adjustments associated with them. I take great pride in the fact that I gain a large number of my patients through recommendations alone. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling.

Our Reception Team
We have four excellent receptionists who keep the place running smoothly. You'll find them on the other side of the phone, and replying to your emails, as well as being front of house. None of them were too keen on having their photos taken so you'll have to wait and meet them in person!

Manager
I am the clinic manager and can safely say that the clinic has been on this earth for longer than I have and we hope it'll carry on for many more years. This place is in our blood and we feel incredibly proud of it and all the people inside it! I can be found at my desk at home working remotely or in the back office at the clinic. You may also find that I bring my twin boys into work these days too!

Having spent a number of years working on reception at the clinic I have stayed on in the background to be Fab's sounding board whilst she goes about her role. I also inherited our Dad's handy skills so I'll be the one coming in with the drill and the paintbrush when things need sprucing up. I work full time as a gardener in the Market Harborough area. In my spare time my husband and I love to get out on our paddle boards and we are hoping to have some motorbiking adventures all over the world over the coming winters!

Massage for Health
I have specialised in massage therapy for over 30 years after graduating with distinction from the Australian College of Massage in 1989. I went on to receive a diploma in Advanced Clinical Aromatherapy from the Eve Taylor Institute (London) in 1995. Further studies include Indian Head Massage (Northampton) in 1999 and in the same year I qualified to Reiki/Seichem (Master) Level III. I completed courses in Hot Stone Massage in 2006 and Thai Hot Herbal Compress Massage in 2008 at the Ellisons Academy (Coventry). I have been established in Leicester since 1997, but prior to this I travelled extensively for many years and have explored a number of techniques from Europe, South East Asia and China. Many of these techniques are integrated into my treatment today.
